Yulon supports wood carving culture, creating social harmony

To achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of 'Sustainable Cities and Communities', Yulon is investing in the local community for the long term and contributing to the San Yi woodcarving industry. The aim is to create synergistic effects to assist in the sustainable inheritance of local artistic and cultural features.

This piece primarily showcases the inlay technique, incorporating the concept of dimensions into its essence. The upper part represents the celestial realm, with traditional scroll patterns from the walls of old street houses as the foundation. Below, magpies and plum branches in the sky symbolize "joy at one's fingertips."

In the artwork, the attempt is made to preserve the natural cracks on the wood, showcasing a transition from rough chainsaw marks to delicate knife traces. It describes different materials such as clothing, skin, and leather, aiming to capture the rustic colors of old Taiwanese houses.
